Southern Soiree-Nashville, TN

Tuesday and Wednesday was spent in Nashville, TN. I was in heaven, being a country music lover; its the home base of CMT, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ol Opry and celebrities like Keith Urban who I so desperately wanted to bump into...I grew up with country music playing on our old kitchen radio, it was always on in the background.
Lots and lots of boots (and they are pricey).
The main strip was where all of the honky tonks were; each one had their door open with a stage in front of a picture window with hopeful musicians singing, hoping to make a break. Lots of talent was heard as we strolled by.
Lots and lots of Elvis's on the street.
Nashville was not some hick town by any means; a very sophisticated environment that was very clean and had great urban planning. The neon lights were really only concentrated in one area, the rest of the city was vast and very attractive.
