ILOVERMONT

A bit nervous around this little guy, no fence between his field and the road I was on.
Waterfalls on the Notch Road
The leaves have just started to turn.
Ever since attending UVM, I always stop at this woodcarving place on Route 100.
Who actually buys these things?
If you are from Vermont, then I don't need to say a thing to explain this picture. Stiff competition for the Juice Bar...

Meeting Chase and Seeing Jena

Montpelier, Vermont
The highlight of my day was visiting my little sister Jena and her perfect 9-week-old son Chase. I am a proud Auntie!
He's alert and wonderful and a little snuggly love.
Jena is one of the brightest and sweetest people I know; she's going to change the world someday. She's the best mommy and I am so proud of her and the perfect son she is raising.

Handy Girls

I have the pleasure of staying in beautiful Jeffersonville, VT with my dear sweet Devon and her two angels for three days. We are tackling the job of painting both the living room and kitchen, moving furniture around and are quite smitten with the fact that when we unhooked a million electronics and wires, we plugged them all back in again and they actually worked.

Dirty Little Secret

I have a dirty little secret called I secretly want an RV. It would come in particularly handy on this adventure of mine. I've always got to stop by this RV joint when I pass by in Vermont.

Jenns Wedding Weekend

The day was enchanting, everything went off without a hitch; she was a beautiful bride and Turner was the perfect groom. So happy and honored to be a part of their day.

Jenns Wedding Weekend

Jenn's Wedding Weekend was so great, we were fortunate enough to meet up with Jenny and Kevin on Church Street after lunch at Leunig's.

Jenns Wedding Weekend

My best girl Jenn is getting married on Saturday and I am so thrilled to be a part of it; off to get our beauty rest for tomorrows festivities.

MJF

My brother is so great, he came from Waltham to say hi and goodbye and brought along all of these gadgets; an Ipod cable so I can listen to more tunes in the car and this handy dandy contraption that converts your cigarette lighter into an outlet.

Kick*ss Cupcakes

Kick*ass Cupcakes are just that; Cool name and they are gluten free!
That afternoon I went to Brookline to visit the Bridier clan who are just wonderful; I regretfully did not get a picture of their sweet daughter Charlotte but just think of the yummiest little pumpkin and that pretty much sums her up nicely. Check out Andrew's company, Castaway Clothing.

NYC turned BOS

I then jetted over to Cambridge for lunch with Yvonne and Tina (look closely)...she and I lived together in college and Yvonne recently graced Boston with her lovely presence; selfishly, I am glad she is closer to moi and ACK.

The Lovely Eisenberg Ladies

I had the best day ever in Boston; it started off with a morning visit with my dear friend Jaime and her darling daughter Chloe who turned 2 yesterday. Jaime and I have been friends for years and it was so great to reconnect.

Crafty Little Lady

Macie Leigh is super crafty and I just had to document this sweet creature she made, complete with a strawberry.

I xo Trader Joes

Trader Joes makes my little gluten-free heart sing, I got all sorts of fabulous road trip food and thought these tissues were a hoot.

Sherburnes in Sherborn

I had the treat on my first night to spend it with my dear Sherburnes, who I nannied for during many summers...their lovely ladies are now 14 and 9...

Our yacht

I am taking a yacht off island...actually its the Steamship Authority's vehicle vessel that takes us back and forth from Nantucket to Hyannis. They pile on cars and people for a 2.15 hour ride to the mainland. There is a vague smell from the hotdogs they insist on starting now, pleather and wet doggies. Having high speed internet on a boat in the middle of the ocean makes it all better though...

A penny for your thoughts

Someone said that if you throw a penny overboard while rounding Brant Point Lighthouse, it ensures both safe travels and that you'll return...I think I threw about $100 worth...
